This one day hand-on workshop will introduce safe and effective methods for paring bookbinding leather by hand. This workshop forms part of the City & Guilds Curriculum for Level 2.
Bookbinding for Beginners

Learn the basic principles of bookbinding, the use of materials and simple hand tools through making a selection of pamphlet and multi-section case bindings using a variety of sewing structures, end papers and cover materials. Also suitable for those who want to learn the craft but who do not wish to work towards City and Guilds awards.
